Landscape lighting controlled from motion sensors and an astronomical clock

One of the most recognisable features of a smarthome, the ability to set and recall lighting presets at will from wall mounted keypads or remote controls is a basic feature of lighting control systems. 

Panic Buttons for floodlighting, Path Lighting from the garage to the kitchen & 'Warm' and 'Goodnight' buttons are all easily achieved with even the most basic system. 

A smarthome will make use of a lighting control system to conserve energy by switching off loads that are not in use.
